Name: Kageno, Kirby (Shadow Kirby. Also goes by Mir)

Personality: Mir is the complete opposite of Kirby in most ways; Where Kirby is cheerful, outgoing and optimistic, Mir’ is gloomy, introverted and pessimistic. He’s also quite serious an a bit world weary. He has a hard time making friends due to shyness and lack of self-esteem, but he’s loyal to the few friends he does make. Mir is sensible practical and a bit serious, always thinking out his actions before taking them. Sometimes he even thinks a bit too much, dwelling on things that distress him or others more than he needs to. Fundamentally though, like Kirby, he’s a good person who will go to great lengths to protect his home from those who threaten it.
Mir is the kind of student who always pays attention in class and gets his assignments done on time, even if he doesn’t willingly participate in class discussions most of the time and mostly stays at the back of the room. His favorite activities are reading and listening to music. He likes to sing, but doesn’t do so in front of others, though his voice is better than Kirby’s at least, if untrained. He’s not a big fan of sweet things like candy or cake, but he’s a big eater who particularly enjoys fruit.
Backstory:
Once upon a time there was a little grey puffball who was all alone. His name was Kirby Kageno, and he didn’t have any memory of his parents or where he came from, his only clue, a silver star shaped pendant that he never took off. All his life, he’d lived at an orphanage in Mirrorland.
The other children at the orphanage found him strange due to his appearance and quite nature, so most of them stayed away from him. Not that he minded too much, as the caretakers kept a lot of books and Kirby found himself spending a lot of his time reading. Though, when he wasn’t being ignored the children would often pick on him, but they soon learned that reading wasn’t his only talent, and he was certainly not to be messed with.
One day he caught the attention of Headmaster Hand of Sumabura and was given an invitation to attend the school despite being younger than most starting students. At first he was hesitant, but with encouragement from one of his caretakers, he accepted. Soon he found himself in a completely new and strange enviornment,
Kirby was scared at first, but the students of Sumabura were more friendly and open than the kids at the orphanage, and he soon found himself meeting another puffball the same age, also named Kirby. He also got a new nickname, Mir. However it wasn’t too long after that when he’d have to return home.
Not too long after settling in, Mir received a letter from the orphanage. One of his caretakers had written to tell him that Mirrorland had been attacked by a mysterious being and the letter assured him that they were alright while urging him to stay away. Despite this warning Mir’ decided to return anyway. After a long and harrowing adventure, Mir managed to defeat the dark being and saved his home, then he remained behind to deal with the aftermath. Now he plans to return to school to complete the rest of his freshman year.
